3C RED PLASTIC SPATULAS FAQ's
As mentioned above in the bullet points, 3C Plastic Spatulas are intentionally made solely from durable plastic as opposed to traditional stopping (or putty) knives as well as other types of spatulas intended for mixing and/or applying sticky, high viscosity materials that tend to feature a metal blade and then a plastic or wooden handle. This ensures an overall lighter weight and noticeably reduces costs in manufacture. The durability of the plastic means the spatulas are rigid enough to to scrape and cut off as well as being just flexible enough to bend and move around edges and corners etc. without breakage.
As explained directly above, 3C Plastic Spatulas are designed to be durable, meaning that, although they're stiff enough to do a good job of mixing and applying stiff materials, they also have enough flex in them to allow for scraping on edges and corners etc. with precision and care so that the tools won't just snap. With 3 x size choices, there's various stiffness to the tools accordingly.
Whilst they are designed for mixing & applying soft materials that subsequently harden upon curing like putties & resins (epoxy resin in our case), there's no real reason why the 3C Plastic Spatulas can't be used for other tasks where slightly flexible, hard-wearing tools are required. We do hear of customers using our tools for smoothing out acrylic fillers and sealants occasionally.
