3C MAX-BOND FAQ's
We don't like to oversell any of our products and so, if you're looking for an allrounder which can seal & bond then 3C Multi-Use is by far the best choice. But saying that, we do have a a few customers that appreciate the amazing 60 shore hardness of 3C Max-Bond and use it as a non-pick sealant for secure environments such as hospitals, prisons and holding cells etc. The main difference of using a product like this as a sealant, is that it doesn't have great toolability to create a nice looking finish.
Bonding mirrors to existing surfaces has evolved over the years as people seek to create more aesthetically pleasing options to mount things. The need for mechanical fixings is still the go to for most aspects of design and construction but for lighter objects a strong adhesive is sufficient. With mirrors in mind, this has become such a successful use for 3C Max-Bond that we actually made a dedicated blog about it on our main corporate website (click here to see)
The ingredients used in the manufacture of 3C Max-Bond ensures that the product will work equally well both inside and outside. In general hybrid polymer products cope quite well with the extremities of external application such as adverse weather and UV with the exception of Clear coloured options that breakdown with excessive UV. 3C Max-Bond is Black in colour so this doesn't apply. The temperature is the only condition that could affect performance and thus it should only be applied between 5c - 25c.
